Mileage range incorrect
Hello. I recently had the battery replaced in my Lexus NX200T. After replacement, the mileage range to empty is only showing 330 miles to empty after fill up. It used to show around 400 miles to empty. Is there a way to reset this? Thanks in advance.
As you drive the car over several tank fulls of fuel, the car will adjust that number (total range) based on the type of mileage you are getting based on your driving style.
In other words, the car's calculation of MPG you are getting which you can see scrolling through the menus on the gauge cluster.
When the battery was changed, the car lost all that previous data.

I agree with the above, but add the following observation. I have driven my recently-acquired 2018 NX300 about 8,000 miles. When the range reaches zero I consistently still have 2.5 to 3.0 gallons of gas in the tank. Why does Lexus design in such a large reserve, assuming this is intentional? It wouldn't bother me so much if the range then went from zero to negative numbers, representing miles driven while in 'reserve' status.
