Initially I thought I would change oil at 10K but with the oil change being relatively inexpensive on this car ($139 with dealer coupon), I change it every 5K miles now when the reminder goes off. I never rotate tires, once I see/feel the car is dialed in from the factory, I don't take the chance of rotating to alter the alignment in any way - if it means I have to replace the tires sooner, so be it.
I performed first oil change at 2,800 miles on my 2025 NX 350h. I was surprised how dirty the oil was. Did not look that dirty on the dipstick. Wonder if I should send it off to lab?
I am pleased I decided to move forward with it. However, one puzzling thing I noted was the oil filter. My NX 350h had filter part No. 90915-10009 and I replaced it with 90915-YZZN1. I read that it is a suitable replacement for 10009 but does anyone know what the difference is? Is it place of Manufacture? does it have anything to do with composition? Curious....

@kredfish00 — Looks like it’s just the difference between old part # that’s no longer available and new one.Originally Posted by kredfish00
