Hi all! I just bought a new 2021 NX300 FSport and i’m trying to hardwire my radar detector. I’ve done this to all my vehicles and to my surprise there are no visible wires in the NX! My mirror is a home linn with compass. I’m assuming I have to remove the large cover behind to access the plug. Anyone do this? How do you remove it without breaking it?

 

Correct, the wire is going through the mirror arm. I think it would be easier to drop the map lights and go through the headliner instead of taking off all that plastic.
