Default Access under rear seats?

Hi,
one of our airpods fell into the left back seat through the gap where the seat belt anchor is. Cant see any easy way to get access. Any suggestions gratefully received!

If you lay the rear seat back all the way forward, there is a hinged panel that covers the gap from the rear compartment to the seat backs. Lift it up, you should have access to that area.

Great, thanks for that. The material on the back of the seats is pinned down to the base by plastic fixers of some sort. They didnt pull up with a little bit of pressure but not my car so didnt want to force the issue. I can visit local Lexus dealer during the week to check but if you are sure what type of fixings these are it would be appreciated.

I have removed those fasteners more than once. A set of clip removers similar to the attached image makes it easy. You could also file a slot in an ordinary putty knife and it should suffice.

They are plastic push down pins. While you won't break them and they are reusable, you will bend the soft brushes that hold it down, no issue though just looks weird. I have taken my trunk apart many times, they've held up fine.
