I am disappointed Lexus opted for the 2020 NX to use Yokohama Geolander as their OEM tire.. I should have checked prior to taking purchase. My mistake,
It is definitely a more noisy and less smoother ride than Michelin's Premier LTX Interested to hear what others have found and/or replaced out-of-the-box
Thanks,
David
David, yes, you have to watch this.
When I purchased my NX dealer offered Michelin-s and Yoko-s, depending, my guess, on particular options set. I noticed and made a point requesting Michelins. The car I bought was with Yoko-s but dealer changed to Michelins at no charge. I got lucky.

I bought my NX F-Sport off the lot, but part of the deal-maker was the dealer would swap-out the OEM tires for Michelins.
Same with my wife's Audi Q3. We ordered it from the factory, but said we would not accept delivery unless the car had Michelin tires...the dealer agreed and swapped the tires when the car arrived.
Does anyone know what tires come on the 2021? Same Yoko or Michelins? In an NX loaner now (my ES350 in the shop) and it has the Yoko Geolanders on them. (18 inch option) Not impressed. Of course they got better after I let about 4 lbs of PSI out of them and took them down to the 32-33 range.
