As is well known now, the Australian/European spec NX has only 1 reverse light with the other side being an LED rear fog light, while the American spec NX is fitted with 2 reverse lights.

I'm very keen to retrofit an American rear light housing into an aussie spec NX to get two reverse lights. Has anyone attempted this before?
Trying to find out if it's a plug and play change or if the new reverse light bulb would need to be hardwired to the existing working reverse light.

On a similar note i wonder if the NX300 rear tail lights that have sequential turn signals could plug and play fit into the NX200t?

After scouring through the forums for any info on the topic, i've drawn a blank.

Has anyone attempted to retrofit rear light housing between Aus and US spec cars or between NX200T and the newer NX300 models?

Any help would be appreciated.
