Default Lexus+ Alexa

Hello everyone. Tried searching on the forms and even the ES forms but couldn't get this solved for my NX.

Has anyone had problems with the Alexa app on their NX? I've downloaded the latest updates (both IOS and the Enform suite in the car).

My phone is connected via bluetooth and not CarPlay, and every time i try to launch it, the car keep saying "Lexus+ Alexa not detected" My phone constantly says on the IOS app that its waiting to establish connection yet the enform app says it's connected.

I've been trying for a month and still can't get the darn thing to work lol.

BTW i have a 2019 NX300 F sport 10/18 build

This is what I was getting on my 2/19 build ES until I applied both Enform updates to the car. I also had to have the Enform 2.0 version of the app running as well as the Lexus+Alexa app on the phone. The frustration for me is that I now need the Enform app for our NX and the Enform 2.0 app for the ES. (I guess I will have to work on the wife to convince her that is a good reason to start shopping for a new NX)

Anyway, I cannot confirm the current NX model works exactly the same way, but I would think it very likely. Now once I start the Lexus+Alexa app on the car (with the apps mentioned above running on my car), it connects right up. Having experimented with it (and being an active Echo/Alexa user in our home), I am having a hard time finding it to be worth the trouble. I would rather invest the energy to learn the car’s native voice commands.

Yes I’ve read that on the ES forums, however, when I tried to apply the updates from the USB drive, my vehicle indicates that I’m on the latest firmware.

In addition, I do have both apps running on my phone at the same time. It’s funny all the other apps on the app suite works but not the Lexus+ Alexa.

My home is Alexa based as well, I would only use it for activating different devices while in the car (I guess it’s just a gimmick).

i figures maybe I’m doing something wrong. I even deleted the apps and signed out and reinstalled and signed back in. Still same thing.

Have you made sure you are logged into your Amazon account on the Lexus+Alexa app?

Sorry have been busy. But yes, i've made sure that I'm logged in. Even after i deleted the app and deregister it on the alexa app as well and resign in to amazon after i reinstall the app, still no luck. I just give up!
