Just exploring my new 2020 NX 300 I came across a Vehicle Alert History and found a number of Alerts, all the same day and time, around a month before I took delivery. They were AWD MALFUNCTION, TRAC CONTROL MALFUNCTION, and PRECOLLISION SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. Does this sound like something that happens during the build, pre-delivery or something when, say, hooking up a battery, etc? I'm surprised they weren't cleared prior to delivery. Any ideas?
Well, if you were really curious, you could find techstream and log into vehicle memory. Just to poke around those data.
Many things happen during delivery. Buddy worked as paint guy for local Toyota. They had "new delivery" slide off the truck and damage rear quarter panel. they cut it out, replaced, repainted and sold as new never damaged.
Not Russia only does this crap. If I were you, I'd logged in first, before talking to dealer. Find indy that will do this for you.
Strange error messages "can" happen when the 12V auxiliary battery is depleted below a certain threshold voltage, but normally disappear after recharging (in your case, some remained in history memory). What was the production date of your car? Even in stock, the onboard computer systems are draining energy from the 12V battery, requiring a recharge before delivery.
I agree with ukrkoz that your dealer might not be the best place to tell the truth... Any good OBD2 scanner (< $200) will allow you to brainwash your vehicle's memory.
"Worst case" is your dealer had to repair some failed system prior to delivery (could be anything from sensor, electronic module or wiring harness...).

The date on the black door sticker is 05/19 which us when the error messages are dated, all at the same time of day. Maybe they occurred during assembly before the battery was charged or put in place??

Most likely yes, after assembly & testing, before shipping. Personally I wouldn't worry, as I'm convinced Lexus won't let pass any car with a defect. Enjoy driving !

I'm impressed Lexus is fast in supplying a quick & sound answer. It makes sense indeed that the cars are shipped with all systems powered off. Obviously, the error messages in "history" have been generated during testing before shipping, and for some reasons haven't been cleared (not a problem, anyway).
I checked my car: I can't access any "Alert History" in the Info Menu, I don't have this button.
