Little Button

I just bought a 2020 300 NX. Former BMW unenthusiast.....What does the button on the bottom of the touchpad do? Has two upward pointing arrows on it. Doesn’t seem to change anything. Thanks and nice being here!

It's the sub-function button; it allows to display a couple of sub-functions when the main screen shows a similar double upwards-pointing arrow, e.g. in the GPS navigation screen.

Thanks, so if I don’t have Navigation it serves no other function??

There are a couple of other screens allowing sub-functions to be selected, albeit I don't remember them all. My best advise is you "play" a bit with your system to find out its many options.
