Wife's NX is an 18'. On all the listing they have it from 15-17' even though this should be exactly the same... The connectors didn't change at all.
Yep should be 100% plug and play. No snipping of any wires. Depending on how these look I would be very tempted to cut the part above or actually just remove the LED aspect and do what JHS82 mention and putting it inside the inner top handle shining down. That way I would actually keep my wife's tan inserts to match the rest of the interior and there would be a minimal opening at the top for the led to shine through. I dare say it would actually be a much cleaner install. Removing the door panels on the NX takes all of about 3 minutes so that's easy. IF you can wait two weeks until I get these I can report back with more information.
The first seller I bought them from has a sale... it's not much but it's like $93 instead of a $100... $100 is cheap mod honestly in my book. I paid over $270 something to get the OEM JDM illuminated cup holder inserts for her NX. It looks super awesome though at night.
Excuse the crappy picture that I took awhile back.
Apparently Lexus used to do this on certain models. You can kinda see how this was done via the how to and it might help you. I'd be eager to see this project through if you start. As long as you get wiring sorted out I think it would be an extremely clean install... I know our w211 has a tiny amber LED in each door handle. It's hardly noticeable honestly. I wish it were brighter but same concept.
EDIT:
I'll update once I get the above inserts. If nothing else at least other people can see how they work, if they work well, or if it's tacky. Hoping it's not the latter. Ordered last night so it will probably take a couple weeks to get here from China.

That's more towards what I'm going for.
I'll probably post it in my build thread, but if it seems to be a bigger thing, I'll make a seperate thread about it.

I have already submitted an "Offer" option of $75 USD and they accepted it haha... They said they got it in stock and will be sent asap.
The title says dark blue, but I hope it's not just 1 colour...
Nice on the best offer! I had emailed them prior and they replied with this:
New message from: auto*home (3,238Red Star)
Hi friend.
Sorry for the late reply.
This product has 7 colors of light, with 3 levels of brightness to adjust.
If you have any question pls let us know.
Best regards

Yeah, basically the exact same reply I got from them too... I hope it's plug and play like in the video, reason why I say this is because I noticed in the listing it never showed the other part of the adapter.
Should be plug and play. Most stuff like this you aren't cutting any wires at all.
I ordered the set on the 9th and it still wasn't showing shipped yet. Emailed them and they said it normally takes 5 days to process the order...arg. So pretty much will be 3 weeks until these are received I imagine.
But yea I wouldn't worry too much. Everything that I have found online about these there shouldn't be any type of splicing. Looks like it all just connects and has pass-through connectors install looks to be about a 1 or 2 out of 10 and that totally depends on i f you remove the door panels just to make it easier.

Now we wait....lol

Yeah, the hardest part of the whole process is the waiting game... Lol
Did some more digging and found another picture. You can see that the board should be removable. This should actually make it really easy to mod and keep current inserts (IF your's are tan) If they are black then no reason to do this at all. But I'm 99% positive I've going to embed them in the top part of the door opening so I still retain the tan inserts and when looking in you won't see anything at all. I will spray or pot the board so that no water or moisture could possibly touch anything exposed.
w00t w00t!
Also this is probably what the controller is going to look like that we will put on the driver side door. I wouldn't expect this to be on each led set. Just the main driver side since that is the one that is going to control the color and brightness..
Received the door handle lights. Pretty quick from China actually. Looks like these are a single RGB led instead of the 3 that everywhere is pictured. That's fine I guess. Package come with 4 control boxes and 4 wiring harness along with velcro to attach black control boxes inside door panel. I'll more than likely zip tie them so they won't ever fall down.
Note that one control box is differently labeled than the other 3. I have translated it in the picture. Also note that the one wiring harness is different pin out from the other three. This will go into the main control box (driver side).
Other than that this looks like a fairly simple install. The nice thing is that these are only held in with a small piece of tape for the led board. What I plan on doing once I test everything out is taking out the door cups in the doors, and drilling a single tiny hole so the LED fits/shines through. That way I keep my tan interior door bowls and it's even less visible since the led is shining straight down. I'll take pictures of all that once I start. Currently have too many projects in the garage with our w211 and my STi so it will be probably a few days before I can fire everything up and see the brightness/colors...etc.

Wow, you got yours quick!... That's disappointing that it's not the 3 LED as advertised though... Looks like a cheaper variant.

So, I just installed this bad boy and it works as advertised. I don't know if there's a difference between the NX200t, but I had some trouble with trying to feed the ziptie+wires through the door card because of the thick insulation. Just make sure you angle the insertion towards the front and use an extra long ziptie as you guide it down... It helps. In my case, I didn't have extra long zipties so I just connected two zipties together so it reaches down low enough where I can pull it out.
Hopes this helps! Fairly easy modification, took me about an hour but I took my time (most of the time, trying to figure out which side is which)...
Awesome! How is the brightness? And the quality of the door bowls that replace the existing door bowls? IE: Do they click in just like the oem ones? From comparing them to the stock ones they looked identical.
My wife has been out for work all week so I haven't been able to do anything since she has the NX with her. I am planning on doing this over the weekend while I change her oil.
Good info for the ziptie mod. I was just planning on removing door panels so then I can look to see where I am installing the led if I don't go with the door bowls they provided.

To my surprise, the quality of the door bowls are almost identical to OEM, same matte black rough texture finish. They just snap right in, no fighting with it, no hassle!
The brightness of the LED's aren't bad... It's still too bright outside to see but even in the broad daylight, on the medium setting, you will see it.
I did a couple tests. I drilled a small hole in the driver side upper part and mounted it. Keeping the tan oem insert. Looked good. Took a little more work than just popping in the black inserts.
Wife said it was ok. She said she doesn't want her vehicle turning into a disco and look tacky..lol I will just test fit all 4 black inserts and have her drive it for a week or so. Not sure why she doesn't like ambient lighting though. We were in her sister's S class and the entire cabin has ambient lighting everywhere... I love it, my wife hated it though.. go figure.

If you find that you have no need for the black inserts (without the LEDs), I'd like to have them.
