Default Transmission fluid ???

Hello all,

My 2015 Nx get 45k miles now. Does anybody here get transmission fluid replacement at this time??? On manual book showed the fluid is for life but I'm confusing. Any recommend??? Thanks

Follow the factory maintenance schedule from the manual. Unless you are operating in extreme conditions. Pulling a trailer or lots of stop and go traffic etc.

It's been lifetime for years.
true or not. I replaced ATF in my Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid every 50K miles. I replace ATF in wife's RX every about same.

only reason I ever replaced tranny fluid was to upgrade to synthetic...think all cars in last decade come with synthetic.

Firstly, did you know that from the 1950s til well into the 1970s whale oil was used as the friction inhibitor in transmissions? Anyways, The trans on your car is "sealed" meaning it never needs to be changed or is suggested so by the manual. But, I have seen people have a sudden increase in shift response and acceleration from changing it anyways. I would say 45k is a little early if you are going to change it against the manual's suggestions.
