Wheel rubbing?
Lexus NX200t 2015 F sport (Canada so it has AVS)
I bought one size smaller wheels and tires (17" instead of 18") because the website (pmctire) said I could go down to the base size for winter wheels instead of the f sport size.
Now I changed all 4 wheels and test drove. On right hand turns when I turn the wheel about half a turn to the right, there is a thumping noise obviously related to the rotation of the wheel because its an intermediate thump, thump, thump. you can also feel this thump very well only while turning right. My first thought is there was some rubbing somewhere. I checked the front at various angles but no rubbing. Also left turns don't make this noise. I eventually changed the back left wheel to the summer wheel and the sound is gone... so I've isolated it to this one wheel.
Looking at the wheel it looks completely fine though, no rubbing marks, same size as all the others, and PSI around 30. Could it be something wrong with the bead??? Will the thumping just go away? Maybe I didn't let it center on the CB well enough????
edit: I'm starting to think the wheel weight is rubbing on the caliper or something but only on one side?

GoPDemon,
If it were the weights, the thump would occur even when driving straight. Have someone inch the car forward, turning, while you're standing outside to help find the culprit.
Good luck.
