2015 Lexus NX 200t LED lights on one side went out and garage says about $1,000.00 to replace. Lexus has 37,000 miles on it...Is this covered by the Lexus warranty?

 

Basic warranty is 48months/50k miles, should be cover under warranty

 

48 months. 50,000 miles 48 months from its in service date the first time it was sold. If you bought it used you can find its in service date on service history free at Lexus driver

I got same problem but I bought from Toyota dealer noted in my first thread. They were bad when we bought it just took time to realize. They already told me it’s not covered but I’m not done yet

Did you take it to a Dealer or a private shop and what was the breakdown on parts and labor?

 

I was looking up Lexus parts and Lanor warranty and if the parts were procured from a dealership but installed by other tan Lexus 12 month warranty, If it was purchased and installed at the dealership 12. Months or 12000 miles.

Why are you not at the dealership anyway you should be covered under basic warranty.

My basic warranty is expired but not by my much but I think my lights have been replaced once before which I may change the game but it’s like pulling teeth to get a straight answer.

 

Are these Lexus LED headlights starting to fail after a few years? I hope this is not a wide spread problem.

 

I wonder this as well. I’ve noticed multiple NX’s on the road that have one side of the DRL LED burned out.
