Default Power Back Door Wouldn't Open

I couldn't find anything in the Owner's Manual to explain what happened today. It had snowed about an inch, I started the car, and tried to open up the power back door to get my snow squeegee out. Nothing happened when I pushed the button on the dashboard, the release on the outside of the door, or my key fob. On the sixth attempt, which was with the button on the outside on the door, it finally opened. I have no idea why the other attempts wee unsuccessful. has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't yet had this happen, hopefully there is an explanation out there. Let us know if it happens again.

Keep in mind on cold days, the weather seals can be stuck together. After several attempts of trying to lift open, it probably cleared itself and finally open..
Just a theory.

Happens to me a couple of time (with my van though) it cold weather/out in the snow...

Thanks for that thought. That occurred to me, but it was 32 degrees, and the freezing seals has been a problem once in a while in the past after a car wash and a temperature drop into the 20s.

Mostly likely the seals were frozen. The power mechanism is very sensitive when opening... not so much for when closing though...
