Default Dealer Flat Fix Experience?

My rear passenger side tire has a nail in the thread area and there’s a slow leak. I was wondering if anyone has gone to a dealer to repair a tire? If so, what was your experience? What kind of repair do they do? Plug and patch combo? Or just a plug or patch? Thanks.

Why go to the dealer? Did you buy their tire warranty?

I doubt dealers would plug - usually a liability issue.

I've had the dealer patch several tires for me over the years and never cost more than $20, sometimes it was even free. Got a loaner too if they knew I was coming in.

Thanks for the info. I’m thinking of going to the dealer I purchased my car at because dealers are responsible for any damage to the wheel they caused. I went to another dealer to do my 12 month servicing and when they removed my 4 wheels, they dinged it up. I brought this issue to corporate and that dealer had to resurface all my wheels. If I went to a regular shop, I don’t get that warranty.
