Does anybody know how to remove silver roof rail?

Welcome to the NX forum and CL! Anyone who did this, please chime in.

However from the diagram, it looks like the only way is by removing the headliner and removing the three nut (#2) likely screwed into into the bolts (#9) holding the parts/rail tightly onto the roof.

not sure why you're asking about it, but if it's for aesthetics, I saw a post somewhere where someone had the rails vinyl wrapped.

 

you might have to put a rubber strip after not sure.
