it depends on how you use it, what kind of interest your family have etc. We are a family of five, 2 adults and 13,10 and 1 year old (using a childseat). We debated the size and the luggage-space before we got it, and without the roof-box and the space under the trunkfloor(Norwegian models dont have a spare-tire, do you?), It would have been a "no-go". But it works ok for us, but europeans are used to smaller cars than in the US I guess :-) so you just need to visit a dealer and try! Good luck!
