Hope I'm not the only one that has noticed the door handles on the NX F-Sport hardly shows up in the dark anymore. What I'm talking about is the upper top edge. I thought it was very cool that just walking up to my F-Sport and the door handles light up when its dark out. After some investigation after a morning of detailing I noticed there is a very small grove in the upper edge of handles. Sure you could see the grove but what you couldn't see that the grove was full of old wax, dirt from washes, and hand lotion on the passenger side most likely my wife's . So to clean this little grove out I began using a tooth pick back and forth in the little grove. I couldn't believe all the crud that came out of that little grove on each door handle. Now it's back to the illumination that I enjoy when I first bought my F-Sport. Hope this helps for other picky detailers like myself .

Is that on F-Sport 2016 US models only? Which years and models have this feature?

 

Our non-Fsport 2015 has the handles that light up as you walk up to the car at night. It might be part of a package.

 

I found my issue, I do have the led on the handles but somehow the dealer changed it upon purchase and hes the only one who can put it back to the default (Standard) setting ....Dumbell! Why would someone change this without Client conscent? oh well
