Yea, I need to figure something out....its a good thing I mainly use the crate in my truck. the tiedowns on back of seats are not very sturdy imo.

Did you give the LATCH system a try? If they can hold your child down, it would be strong enough for your dog too.

thanks for the pic, i didnt realize there was a tiedown hook down there...will try it out when wife gets home. thanks again looks like a good option.

(apologies for reviving this old thread,..)
To keep things from sliding, those non-slip rug pads can be useful. At least one manufacturer (GripMaster?) makes a thicker ("cushioned") type, which works much better for some situations.This is how I keep some things from sliding around. Obviously, this would not secure something during an accident.
