I just cleaned my garage floors yesterday (epoxy). this morning after wife went to work I checked the clean floor to find exactly 1 drop of oil under where the engine bay would be if parked inside. just wondering about thoughts/prior experiences. nx has 100miles so far.

 

Sounds too new for a leak. Have it checked on your 1st service.

 

dealer said just bring it in and pick your loaner car and they will figure it out....I said its only 1 drop and will monitor...if its 5 drops its going in.

 

Rare but could be as simple as the oil pan bolt or filter not tightly screwed on against the gasket.

took my 15 gx460 in for 20000 miles service and the dealer said the transfer case is leaking. $30 part and 10+ hours labor so who knows what is going on with these new complicated engines.

 

Could it be water from rain or something splashed underneath and a few drops of grease or grime dissolved and dropped on the floor?

 

I have been monitoring daily and havent seen a drop of anything since...odd...but doesnt seem like anything significant.
