From the battery. There were a set of wires from the engine bay going into the drivers side. So we took a wire hanger. Straightened it out. And pushed through. Backed it with double sided tape after.

That is the correct spot. U should use some wire loom and clean it up a bit.

Totally forgot to take pics of this part when we were working on it. But we connected it to the rear sub on the lift gate. My friendis a mechanic at Toyota so he had the tools to pop the rear panels. The panels just popped in and out. Im sure someone here can explain it. I literally just looked away then all the panels were off. lol
