Does Android Auto Work in 2016 NX?

Does Android Auto Work in 2016 NX?
Has anyone tried to use android auto on their navigation display? Do you know if it works? I did google around but I only found articles from 2014 saying Lexus had no plans to allow android auto, but maybe something has changed recently that I'm not aware of. Thanks.

No, it doesn't work and probably never will. Their strategy is to force people to use their own crappy navigation and app integration.

Bummer. That's too bad. I'm not a huge fan of stock navigation. So much easier to find and input addresses via our smart phones. I really hope Lexus changes its position as it will really unlock the navigation functions on our cars.

There are HW/SW requirements from google to run android auto on a car, so I doubt our cars will ever be able to run it.
