I know this is hypothetical question, but anyone have any news on 2017 NX and when it will go on sale. Mainly I would hope to know if its Lexus Safety+?

I know no one really knows but Lexus. Currently have RX with it and wont buy another car unless it has this options.

 

According to this somewhat recent article, Lexus is making Lexus Safety System+ standard across the range, except for the GX. So if you can wait, you should wait and get the 2017MY, which should be released in a few months.

There is a new Nav system announced for the 2017 NX and other Lexus models.

 

The "new Nav system" which integrates with your smartphone seems to be only for cars not equipped with the navigation package. It uses the Display Audio Controller, the **** system. This system (already integrated into Toyota) seems to be getting negative reviews already.

Haven't seen news about a new Nav system for the Remote Touch Interface.

 

Ah, I think I misunderstood about those changes. Thought it was an improvement on the current interface, not a substitute for those who don't have the Nav. Thanks.
