My friend and I installed my hard wire dash cam that I bought from AliExpress. We tapped the ACC wire to the ACC fuse and B+ constant power to power outlet fuse. We put the grounding wire to some metal clips. We're likely going to move the grounding to a bolt later down the line. For the actual wire, we used the plastic trim removal tools and just massaged it into the weather stripping and then on top of the airbag cover and along the roof.






Here's a test video I did for night driving. Will post a day drive later.

 

I install the black sys very easy the hard part was running the wire to the trunk.
