Default Buzzing with the engine off 15 hours later

Okay, I know that buzzing coming from the car after its turned off, and up to 5-6 hours later, is considered normal...but, ours was buzzing this morning after setting in the garage for over 15 hours. Is that still normal and, if so, what exactly is that buzzing? It sounds like its under the hood and back toward the firewall area. Hard to make out which side it comes from, though.

Anybody have an idea? Before you ask, yes, I tried searching the forum first, but didn't find an exact fit for the question. Just curious...

i just talked to the service advisor about this and other things. he said its some sort of a self check the system goes through. I described it like a fuel pump sound and he knew exactly what i was talking about.

I figured it was something like that...thing is, though, it HAS to be mechanical in nature...yeah, like a fuel pump type of mechanical sound. Seems like someone would know exactly what that noise is coming from and how often it runs its system check. I mean, someone in the know, like a service technician.
