Auto door locks
Another day another question. My apologies, but I am very new (3 days) to the lexus brand. From what I've read in other sub forums here and elsewhere lexus does NOT auto door locks when walking array from the vehicle and wanted to confirm that with the experienced people here. I had assumed it did and left my doors unlocked the entire evening the first night I had it and after getting enform setup I was notified they were not locked. I'm used to walking away from the car after turn it off and the door locks locking after 30sec (programmable delay). Takes a lot of effort to touch the door handle to lock it after getting out LOL. Well more like trying to remember after 3 years of not having to do so heh.

You're not the only one that's left their brand-spanking new NX unlocked. My former car auto-locked and that's what I'm used to.
Oh well. since I carry my smartkey on a carabiner hanging off a belt loop, I simply push the button on it as I'm walking away. The range for the NX remote is remarkably far. I can get extra distance if I hold the remote up to (and touching) my chin. I guess it uses your body as an antenna! LOL!
