LOL, I am old but I do hit 75 mph or more when speed limits allow. I hit 152 mph once, but that was on a race track in a NASCAR race car. That was fun!

Thumbs down Lexus NX 200T Does Vibrates!!!

Been a loyal Lexus customer for the past 7-8 years. Leased a 2015 Lexus NX 200t SUV in late July, and have taken it to my Lexus dealer to fix a vibration issue. This vibration is felt in the gas pedal, seat, and steering @ 60 MPH or greater. After 5 attempts - I was told that, "the vibrations doesn't substantially impairs the use, safety, or value" and "is a normal characteristic of this particular model."

I was referred by #LexusUSA to the Arbitration body, National Center for Dispute Settlement (NCDS) - who basically rubber stamped Lexus. I was advised by Lemon Law lawyers that this is a typical occurrence.

Please find below, one of the Independent Report from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE); however, I should accept this "feature." Thanks

Ok, so what more proof does Lexus need to fix or change your vehicle. You have Lemon Laws in the US. Time to use them.
Not good enough Lexus, not good enough.

I just got my tires checked and changed and even though that made difference I still have the vibration in the 70 to 80 mph range.

Now I'm guessing here but after the tire change it's starting to feel like the vibration is coming from the engine not the suspension. I say that because you can usually pin point a tire problem at an exact point in the driving experience. But this particular problem, at least in my car, seems to come on in a range during my driving.

This is a new engine for Toyota/Lexus and it's also their first stab at a turbo engine so it's probably safe to say that this engine may have some kinks.

I have the same minor issue from Day 1, but for me it's at idle around 750-800 rpm which is felt more with the HVAC on. During the drive, engine is still smooth (for a 4 cyl) though...

my car idles rough also

The engine maybe a good one but it really lacks the refinement befitting of a Lexus.

Engine won't cause vibrations at 70-80 mph they would be constant if a flywheel was a out of whack.
Drive shafts out of balance do this more than people realize. Also AWD systems one of the shafts might be out of alignment or balance. Ask the dealer to check drive shafts for balancing.

I can tell you as FACT mine doesn't vibrate at all.

..... rotors , shaft balancing, bad wheels or tires. Road Force balancing can find the bad wheel or tire though. Rotors - drive shafts are left. Looks to have two halves and a carrier they can be checked.

AWD or no?

Ditto. I have the same vibration at 750-800 rpm. Completely smooth otherwise.

Was there ever a solution to your vibration? It's been a few months since you last posted.

What is the outcome...? Did this ever get resolved?

I've got a 200T RX fwd Luxury.... same issue.

Vibration at 105kms...worse at 115 to 125kms.... and also has a slight vibration at idle.

All other speeds are fine.

Car is only 3 weeks old... it 'feels' like a drive shaft imbalance...??

Given the mechanicals on the NX 200T are the same, Im keen to hear what happened here.

Default 75+ mph isn't smooth ar all

My nx200 AWD, F-sport has the vibration around 75 mph or faster. It seems to get worse when the tires get hotter. How many F-sport owners have a vibration? My local dealer is saying it's common to this model. I think it's the Bridgestone Tires that's on it

Default There is nothing shaking driving 80 MPH

I actually drive 80 Miles a lot on freeway due to a personal habit. I don't notices any vibration at all too. it is also F sport model with Michelin tires.
