can you post a pic of your edge guards. I want to put them on my car but I have a hard time finding an aftermarket solution.

I bought a set but it kinda made the doors hard to close so i took them off.

You can take a look at the last picture from the pic above. It's OEM so it doesn't interfere with the door closing at all & the paint matches the color of your NX. I strongly suggest that you get the OEM version.

It can be purchased from <http://factorylexusparts.com/nx-door-edge-guards/> for $92 less 10% (using code "CL5"). It's only free shipping if you purchase anything above $150.

Hope this helps.

note - you don't need it for the front doors if you get body side moldings. The molding should be the first thing that touches an object before the edge of the door - unless the object is curved...

I had mudguards installed today by a local mechanic. I got them from Factory Lexus Parts (one of the companies that advertises on this site) and had installed for $40. took 45 mins because the mechanic had to review the instructions but did indicate that no drilling was required. He will be adding my hitch when it arives next week. My Lexus dealer wanted $70 to install the mud guards which is why I went with the local guy.

Wildeklave, If you haven't purchased your body side molding yet, I will be installing mine in a few days. It is painted color of body Nebula Gray but comes with a chrome insert. I have used these 10 times before and they are great. Comes from Sportwing.com I will post pics when done. I also just installed chrome lower rocker panel molding and they look great, especially since I installed 20" chrome wheels.

I didn't install molding yet. I did mudguards and an aftermarket trailer hitch this week. Would love to see your pics.

I love the lower rocker panel molding ! Do you think it would look good if I didn't want the BSM, but just the lower ? Where did you get it ? I would actually like to have the lower chrome piece following the slant as the lower panel does on the NX.
Thanks and have a great weekend !

I think it would like fine. I had it on before the body side molding and it looked great. On ebay Listed as 2015 Lexus NX200t Polished ABS side body Luxury molding trim.....$89.99 Took 30 min. to install. Very easy. Comes from California. 3 days shipped FREE

I think it enhances that edge design on the doors.
