Default Without power lift gate

Hello,

I just leased the lexus nx f sport but I will not get it until the end of the month or beginning of May. It has everything I wanted, but did not have a power lift gate for the trunk. My question is, it is heavy to close the trunk lid where I am worried that my fiancé will have problem closing. Is it height adjustable?

Lastly, if it is not too much to ask is it possible to post a video of the trunk opening and closing it manually? Thanks!

The manual rear hatch, like the hood, is aluminum for weight savings. To get an idea on weight, check out the CT and add a touch more resistance. Height unfortunately is not adjustable and height to the handle is about 80 inches.

The adjustable height is great. I made the mistake of opening it when in my garage without changing anything and I had to put my hand in the way to not scratch my new car. Changing it so it was one notch lower was perfect. I have about an inch clearance when it stops now.

Typocl, I believe you're referring to the power hatch...

Gizmo607, see 3:31 in the review below. It gives you a brief idea of the opening, the two handles, and height.
