Everyone's initial screen is the map, and it can't be changed. You have to hit the Home button to get to your "personalized" home screen. Sorry.

another interesting thing with the screen

I have day mode set all the time. at dusk sometimes when I go under an overpass the screen will dim away from day mode. I am guessing the sensor realizes the outside light has changed and gets confused.

Question Change Infotainment Start Screen?

When we start the car, there's a splash screen that reads "Lexus of Riverside" (where we purchased the car).

Does anyone know if there's a way to change this graphic?

Dug through the menus a bit and couldn't find any options for it.

Thanks!

Wow! That is so cheap, that they'd advertise on your screen like that.

That's awful, I would have made the dealer remove it immediately the day I picked up the car.

Is there any way to remove the caution screen that starts up and have it go right to the home page? I think I have the message now.

Unfortunately, no. You always have to hit the Home button.

Every dealer we have visited in the area does the same thing... Glad to know it is an easy change!

I agree! It's just tacky! Something I would expect from a Jeep or Kia dealer. The dealer I have used puts their name an address in the Nav system, and THAT bugs me! So I delete it on the way home

Hey Corrado, we have our screen split in half, Nav on one side and music on the other.

The thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to configure the map so that the up direction is always the direction the vehicle is travelling (like in your photo). When we view the map in full screen, this is how it is displayed, but when we go to the half screen (our home set up), North is always up. Any suggestions?

Using the above image as a guide, click on the "SW" in the upper-left corner. You can then select among 2D-North Up, 2D-Heading Up and 3D-Heading Up. Those are the only adjustments available for this.

Edit: I have just tested mine and both the full- and half-screen (Home) displays reflect my choice.
