I am looking to purchase a NX sport and live in the southeast. My dealer in Birmingham told me they could not find this vehicle with the triple beam led option and it would have to be special order. Is this true? Are there any dealers in the States with this option on the lot? I don't mind driving a long distance to buy off of lot as I love this option.

 

On Saturday there was a loaded Silver Lining Metallic/Roja Red F- Sport AWD loaded w/ triple LED headlights -$46K (doesn't have lane assist or front collision avoidance) sitting in the showroom at Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs.

There are 18 NX200T/300Hs on Kuni Lexus of Greenwood Village (Denver area) website. I cant see the dealer sticker or headlight info, but there are quite a few priced at $46,913.00, which are 200T F-Sport AWD with triple beam headlights.

They are out there.

 

In my area (western Washington) at least all F-Sport appears to come with the triple beam LED. But the dealer is having a hard time keeping one on show floor.

 

They are out there depending on what options you want. Lexus sends cars out to each region differently so often this results in the need to special order what you want OR (as you're saying) traveling some distance to get one.

As of right now the following options are not available (even for order) on the F Sport:
- Lane Departure Warning w Keep Assist
- Power Rear Seats

I have been looking for one the way I want - AWD, Triple LEDs, summer tires w/super chrome rims - and it has been really hard to find. Special order in my future I'm thinking. It may take so long though so that has me thinking of waiting until next model year just to see if they add some NX options after revealing the new RX.

 

Plenty of triple beam LED cars in the north east, sitting in the dealership..

 

Do you think this could be added as a dealer installed option later?

I think so, but may not be worth spending the money to upgrade. Wait and by the car with the triple LED.
