You...you mean....you mean you'll have wash that part yourself?
Its not an oversight, a lot of cars do it. Go buy some detailer, and after you wash the car, spray that area down, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe it up.
This happens to the door seals of my Camaro and my wife's '15 IS350.
