Lexus has incorporated the rocker panels and part of the rear wheel well into the doors. As a result, road dirt collects on the lower inside edge of the doors. Car washes won't remove it. Major oversight - and nuisance. Soiled clothing, unsightly, etc.

 

You...you mean....you mean you'll have wash that part yourself?

Its not an oversight, a lot of cars do it. Go buy some detailer, and after you wash the car, spray that area down, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe it up.

This happens to the door seals of my Camaro and my wife's '15 IS350.

RX has the same design. No issues at all with it.

 

Agreed. It depends on how you wash the car. For me, our RX has been washed by hand only and this design doesn't bother me.
