Default Nx price

Hey guys I'm still here in Bangkok Thailand iwent to the dealership and I convert the price of the nx 300h to US dollars and is crazy how high the price is here. The NX300H fsport AWD is about 150 thousand US u have to put down 30 percent u have to put down around 50 thousand down and your monthly payments are around 2,100 dollars per month .I feel pretty lucky to be able to get such good price in the US I currently owned a 14 is250 fsport and 13 rx450h width sport package....No money down anyone knows why is the price so high consider japan is around the corner from Thailand When I'm out I see all kinds of high end cars including porches cayane and Ferrari .....

How does the price of the NX compare with the competition (Q5, X3, GLK etc.?)

From what I read, it is all about the import tax. BMW X3 is around $110K US in Thailand, but BMW assembles their cars in Thailand so paid a much lower import tax.

Spoke with a dealer in Australia, and the NX will be priced below the X3/Q5. So should be quite competitive.

yes, due to import tax, the local government is trying to limit the amount of cars on the road. for example if you get a honda civic in singapore, its like $60,000 where as in the US, its about 20,000. on top of the import tax, then you have your local state fees and permits that you must obtain to be able to drive the car so that is more $$ there.
