Servo Motor Issue
Hi everyone,
About 2 weeks ago my wife told me there was something wrong with the A/C in our 2015 NX200t. Drivers side blowing cold, passenger blowing hot & rear vents not turning on. I thought it may be the same issue as these other models so i took it to get diagnosed. Service dept came back with 3 failing servo motors and the cost would be $2600 for parts + labor. Insane.
I’m aware of the Lexus campaign 20LE01 for the servo motor replacement of certain 2015-2017 models. However, there seems to be no coverage for NXs. Does anyone else have any experience with this issue or knows any way to fight them on this if it is the same exact issue and year as the other covered models?

From a probability point-of-view, the simultaneous failure of 3 of the 5 servo motors is not impossible, but certainly unlikely. In my opinion, a climate control computer module (called "AC amplifier" by Toyota/Lexus) or network communication error is a more likely cause.
Did the technician read the climate control system error codes and list them on your service receipt? Did he or she reset the climate control computer to see if the symptoms changed?
