Battery
Has anyone fitted a common lead acid battery in place of the Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) in NX200t?
I do not use the Spot-Start feature in our NX200t and therefore a non-EFB will be adequate, unless the Lexus computer objects.
Best EFB warranty is 3 years, but with common lead acid battery can get 60 months warranty.
Has anyone had EFB battery get to the point where it has become weak and the computer has disabled the stop-start system?
Love to hear your views/experiences.

My 2016 NX200T is still on its first OEM battery, a regular lead acid flooded unit. Its my understanding that an EFB type battery is needed for vehicles with the Stop/Start feature as EFB's typically have better charge acceptance and greater cyclic durability than regular flooded units.
If you are not using the Stop/Start feature at all then using a regulat flooded unit will/should provide similar life span as per a vehicle w/o the S/S feature.
