Frustration with proving ownership
In an attempt to prove ownership so I could set up an online account, I started a chat conversation on the Lexus website. The chat conversation was fine, meaning the representative directed me to the right website (lexusownership.com). My experience with that Lexus website was not fine. I attempted to submit proof of ownership three times. The Lexus website gave me an error message (the website is not available at this time) each of the three attempts. Since I purchased the used NX300 F Sport from a competitor dealership in January 2023, I have been unsuccessful setting up an account online. So here I am 4 months later, with no online access, an owner's manual CD that I can't use in the NX or on my laptop. I admit that I apparently haven't put enough time in this pursuit, but I am disappointed in my Lexus experience to date. I really like the NX and plan to keep it for any years. I'm just not happy with the support from Lexus.
If anyone has a contact or suggestion regarding this, please post that information here. Thank you!

During the first service visit, six months after the purchase our used Lexus HS250h, the service advisor told me to call Lexus Support and inform them we had just purchased our vehicle. The CS rep required us to give the vehicle's VIN, date of sale, selling dealer and new State of Ownership. The CS then changed Lexus' records in order to indicate we were the new owners. We were then able to add our car to the Lexus Owners Account. Lexus does check the VIN against DMV records. So it is wise to wait a week or so after you have registered the vehicle before calling Lexus. If you have a temporary tag, it is best to wait until your permanent license plates have been assigned to the vehicle. Sometimes, your car can be in a weird limbo during the transition from bill of sale to License Plate assignment.
