EOS v7 aftermath Thread
I'm proud to say all the vendor and raffle items were given to us for our event...and we did not need any monetary donations from them or needed to ask or beg or badger them. It's not about the bragging rights, who has the most dollar valued items or how long your vendor roll call is, or better yet, how much money can I make under the table. We all do this for the love of the cars and the company of people. Sadly, there are some out there that have a different agenda. That sets apart the true enthusiasts from the wannabes.
My hat goes off to the core team (Glen, Will, Ron, Chris L, Chris G and Johnson) for working diligently late at night on a work week and the many con-calls we had to get the job done. Special thanks to all the volunteers and staff that help make this event what it is today. Many thanks to the hardcore SoCal'ers that made the drive up this year (largest contingent by far), especially the die hard old timers that have come year after year to make the trip up. GGP4me, WhiteAristo98, Lexus GS3, we've been doing these trips for so many years it's always an honor to drive with you all regardless of what gas prices are on I-5 LOL!
Last but not least, to my good friend RMMGS4. It's a given that things will happen even when it's just a short period of time. You are the strong foundation that keeps the NorCal movement alive. You are always watching out for everyone and keeping everyone on track. You are pretty much the big bro of the NorCal family and consider you to be the big bro (kuya) I never had. I cannot thank you enough for everything. For those that don't know, all of the time I put behind these events are all voluntary! For the record, and in the 7+ years i've been involved with Club Lexus, they have never paid me a dime (even though I was offered in the past, i've kindly declined several times). This is my hobby and I love putting these things together. This is all about the relationships you build with people and the memorable experiences you share with them. See you all soon!
Please excuse some of the blurry shots...did not have time to weed it all out. Enjoy!
