I'll try to come on this date. It is a really beautiful area up there, and I've taken some scenic drives that are nice. Traffic is usually not too bad, especially if the weather remains cool like it has been.

I got you on the list, alewife, and I too agree that the scenic drives there are just like the ones from all those Lexus commercials

Dennis, you're on the right track. After taking the Tappan Zee Bridge west, you'll want to stay on I-287W to Palisades Pkwy north, and then take exit 17 and follow signs to Anthony Wayne Recreation Area. Isn't it nice to have meets that are accessible from highways?

Post CL Meet

Count me in. NJ is best for me but I'll settle for where ever is more convenient for everybody to meet and not have to drive forever to get there.
What should I bring with me as far as food and beverages, etc.........?

I got you down lexmatic. Like IS300 has mentioned, check the 1st post whenever you're in this thread for updates to the food list and other info. Even though we already have some volunteers to a good part of the list, I will assign the rest of the items to the group by tomorrow.

Default pre-forecast

I know it's still early to look into it, but I checked out the forecast on weather.com for Bear Mountain, and it says partly cloudy and sunny, highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s, and 0% precipitation!

If Hameed is driving down from Canada, than I can surely make it up from New Jersey.

It would be nice to meet everyone.

I plan on bringing my wife .....hope that is okay.

Let me know what I should bring in terms of food.
