Described by Lexus as a "Ride and Drive Track Event" and with a bold come-on that "It's your turn to be the professional driver on a closed course", the IS Precision Tour invites you and a guest to wield precision turning hot laps, accelerate down straightaways and blast through hairpin turns in an IS 350 or IS F. Also in the mix are a couple of fun awards and prizes. One attendee in each of the 6 sessions will be awarded, via random drawing, a track ride as a passenger in the LFA, driven by 1997 FIA GT2 champion, Le Mans and Trans Am competitor and on-air SPEED TV commentator Justin Bell. Additionally, the event will host the Lexus Dream Ride Challenge, where all IS Precision Tour participants qualify to compete in a skill challenge / timed auto-cross. The one participant with the fastest time of the day will be declared the official overall Grand Prize winner of a trip for two to Sonoma, California on April 18 thru 22, 2011 to attend the Dream Ride Event at Infineon Raceway. This includes airfare, lodging, 2 days of on-track driving and/or ride-along experiences and a supercar driving event.

Your initial opportunity to indulge in this controlled hooliganism will be on Saturday 13 November 2010 at the Monticello Motor Club, located at 67 Cantrell Road in Monticello, New York. There will be 6 sessions for the event. Each one lasts approximately 2 hours, and they start at the following times: 7:45am, 9:15 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm and 3:30 pm. Rather than the customary on-line registration, to reserve your spot, call the Lexus Special Events Line at 888.747.4504. Registration is first come, first served, and limited space is available.
