What is a Celsior?
Anyway, while there, we were stopped twice at stop lights by other drivers (LS400 and another LS430) who asked "what is your car? What is a Celsior?"
each time, I just replied "it's the Japanese LS430." I hope none of them think that I actually imported the thing from Japan.Oh yeah, to explain above, I rebadged my LS430 with a Celsior badge.
Another time, I was stopped and a LS430 on the cross street was driving by and just stared at the car. I presume it was the tint, but it could have been they were not use to seeing Asians in an LS430 in the D.C. area...

Anyway, it was fun down there, although coming home, 95N was totally a parking lot and I ended up diverting on route 83 North, to 81, then 78 back home. Taking the LOOOOOONG way home.
hee hee. My question was the question that the two other LS drivers had asked, I presume not knowing what the Celsior was. My wife has been asked a few times about it too, from curious people. Interesting conversation starters, except when you're stopped at a stop light...
Here is my LS in "Celsior" trim...
although I didn't go all out on the Toyota badging.
