Default Long Island - GS400 work

Looking for someone good with Lexus to do some general work (Timing Belt, Ball Joints, TuneUp, etc) on my 00 GS400.

Cannot afford to go to a dealer because: child support + Lexus =

I do have mechanical abilities and can help work on it but won't even think of doing it alone.

EDIT: Hmmmm, I re-read this and want to clarify I don't expect this for free! I am certainly willing to pay for the work I just don't want to pay a dealers prices.

104 St Auto, search for them on CL, they are well known for working on Lexus's. They are in Queens though, but many members from out of state also go there.

718-850-5000 Gazy , Mention ClubLexus

+1 I'm from exit 63 on LIE and I went to Gazi to install my springs!

Shop recommended. Feel free to shoot him a PM before you go over. His username is "Aliga" on CL

Strange, I'm always there and never stopped in their shop, I guess I should check them out too... I usually go to Andy's Auto nextdoor to SpeedWorld in baldwin or tiptop on 99th off of jamaica because I am good friends with the techs there.. I know the work is excellent but I'll have to get a price quote for you. Mike @ Andy's is excellent when it comes to tuning and high performance, Vick @ tiptop is my bodywork/suspension/brake guy. Both are very well rounded mechanics.

Well I found a guy via Craigslist who obviously has worked on Lexus before and was pretty insistent we don't take any shortcuts and use OEM parts.

He will do the work right at my house and his prices weren't drop dead but they were decent and after meeting him I am more confident about it. He came to my house, jacked up my baby and checked out my ball joints for nothing. He also took my vin and it going to run it through Lexus for me to see if there is any record of what work has been done.

I will let you know when the work is done how good this all worked out.
