Reputable place to install spings?

Hi all

Looking for a reputable place to install Tanabe NF210's on my IS250 AWD. Anyone know any shops in NYC or on the Island that they can recommend? My local shop quoted me at $490 for parts and labor. I think that is a little too steep.

$225 for the springs and $265 for couple hours of work? I think its too much.

Any info will be appreciated.

i had my nf210s installed on my 250awd at rayco in levittown (long island)...came to $488 for parts and labor...havent had any problems with the springs so far...(springs $250 and labor $200 plus tax)
another shop i had gone to wanted $375 just for labor

Guy never called me back so I got it installed around my neighbor hood. Charged me $200 flat for the install. Good people there too, shop is called Initial D located on 18th Avenue and Benson Avenune in Brooklyn.

I'm having my springs installed by Gazi now as we speak. I'll let you know how it goes when I get it back later tonight.

It turned out awesome! The car looks a hundred times better dropped, and now the wheelgap is barely visible. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take pics since it was already dark outside, so pics will have to wait until later this weekend. I took 'before' pics so I can use them as a comparison. Stay tuned...

It was great. He's friendly and upfront and took his time to do an outstanding job.
