Anybody else sign up yet for the Car and Driver magazine Test Drive event???

I got an invitation in the mail last week and signed up for it...it's Saturday and Sunday July 23rd and 24th at Belmont Park. Supposed to be a performance driving event with vehicles from Lexus, Mercedes, BMW and Cadillac. Now with the IS expected to be in showrooms for October this seems like the timing could be right for a chance to drive the IS...Car and Driver has already done significant comparison testing of the new GS and it's competitors...I'm banking on this being for the IS...the whole deal is that participants may have some comments included in the magazine as an "Editor for a Day" feature they will be running.

End of July gets them just about enough time to do a September or October issue which are available usually a month early anyway.

Not sure how they do it, but I passed it along to several friends and they signed up...it doesn't ask about guests, but the info on the site sasy that ALL participants and guests must register online.
