this forum is gettin really quiet i hate to see this forum die out ... we should do something this weekend its gonna be nice out and all these events are so far into the month we should do like a weekly meet... somewhere well for all new york metro area that is

I don't think it's been quiet... 
This is just my opinion, but for over the past 2 years since I have been involved with meets and get-togethers around the tri-state area, I've noticed that most of those types of events occur once every few months, depending on the time of year and of course, the amount of interest from the locals and regional members. I have never seen a duration where weekly meets and gatherings have happened, and since we're all pretty spread out and usually have other personal plans set for the weekend, I sincerely doubt we'll have a weekly thing going.
For most of us in the NE forum, a meet is appropriate to have in at least every spring, summer and fall season. And one more thing, these meets can range in size from 15 to 30 cars, sometimes as many as 50 cars!
