You iknow whats funny Carlos? I am still up in the air about the suspension lol. I looked at clublexus member "Two-Times" gs400 and it looks sick with a ltuned drop with I-forged Aeros, 20x8.5 front and 20x10 in the rear 1.25" lip in the front and a 3" lip in the rear. thats funny i just checked it and those look very similar to the rims i'm going to get.. i was thinking of the iforged sprint in black.

the only thing is i'm not going with 20's...either 18'or 19's.

you know what if you want get the springs get a feel for them and you can always upgrade later...

 

yeah same here. 20's are just to big for me. I am doing my homework. i am looking for that bmw sport package ride and handeling, with the same stance. I don't slammed to the point that it is scrubbing nyc streets.

 

definitely go with coilovers then if your looking for performance over look... also look at strut bars and sway bars to stiff up the body even more...

 

IMO, I've seen many 2nd gen with 19's and they seriously look like 18's with a lip..The only except is Johnny's blue GS with the Gettin's, they have a strong 5 spoke design that makes the wheels bigger than they actually are..Other than that, it looks a tad small since the GS is such a big sedan...I think 20's do look perfect with a nice drop on a GS...Plus, the sidewalls for 19's and 20's are the same unless it's a fat tire setup for the 19s...20's and 19's ride pretty much the same..

As a previous owner of shock and spring setup, I would prefer coilovers over springs....Springs didn't give me that perfect stance that I was looking for since they were not height adjustable....My Eibach springs rode like total crap, i wanted to junk my car before I got my CS...Yes, I did want to save myself a thousand dollars but, eventually I wasn't happy with the spring and shock setup...

I was debating between 18-19,most likely i'm sticking to 19's and definitely going with coilovers. i rather spend more money than settling for less. i've driven cars with springs; i've driven cars with coilovers and i fell that there definitely is a big difference
