Default NYC Mechanic

Anyone know an honest mechanic in the NYC area (Central Jersey okay too). Dealers are too expensive, just need an honest guy to do some simple work.

Also, I have a massive brake squealing problem on my 93 LS400. Pads aren't old - very, very loud when I first hit them, gets quieter as I press down. Mostly notice it on city streets, if I hit them on the highway there isn't much noise if any, just when I'm going slow. Anyone know generally how much it would cost to replace the front breaks with OEM? Back breaks don't make a peep.

Thanks,

Andrew

PM nextlevelcoupe. He has a personal mechanic that is a Lexus certified tech and much cheaper than the dealer. I know how it is up there, I recently moved from NYC.
