Also....anyone remember the track day at LI Dragway last April?? Anyone interested in doing another one?

 

I like the idea of the NY meets, but are there any meets coming up in the philly area? I'm much closer to there.

same here... i'd love to meet in the philly area, but not IN philly.

i think there are enough people in the pa area (that i know of) that could make that trek if such a meet was discussed. much easier than L.I.

 

How about a meet at Englishtown Raceway? That should be "middle ground" between NY and PA. Or better yet, how about meets in all 3 areas? Anybody got a contact at Englishtown Raceway? Maybe we could get a special going

 

There were 2 CL meets that took place just outside of Philly last year, in the Franklin Mills Mall, both in May and November (I only went to the May one). Good turnouts in both of them, so I won't be surprised if another meet pops up this year

now officially i have no stock suspension component in my entire car.... i am ready to come out.

 

When and where is the MA meet planned? I'd definitely like to go and bring someone with me. And why is it that my email does not notify me ever anymore when someone replies in threads that I post in?

 

this all sounds great... i just need some dates so i can confirm one way or the other on all these ideas

How about we do this right and have one nice big meet in March or April @ Englishtown Raceway Park?

This way we get everyone from the area to be ther eand the Mass and CT guys can drive down together, we can all meet and also wathc the races.

If we have several small meets then we won;t all meet eachother and I don;t think it would be quite as good.

E-Town has Import Survival Series in March (that might be too soon) but they also have big event/ show in April that we can go to. Better day would be Saturday @ the April event as there will be fewer people and we will have more room and still be able to meet, watch races (Pro and amateur) etc.

I can always try to contact the guy who runs import events there, Javier, and see if he can do soemthing for us or not. Even if he can't , on saturday we can all mee and park in their massive lot and do our thing.

I really think this is the best way to go and wouldmake the meet really something great.

Mariusz Pudzianowski is really something. The guy is built like a bodybuilder, 275 and like 4-5% body fat. 2 years running World's Strongest Man.

Poland has several others that are doing really well in the Strongest Man competitions.

I think this is a great idea! I like the idea of a larger, central meet just so that more of us can get to meet. Of course this doesn't preclude the local meets

Even better if we could get some kind of deal at Englishtown out of it. Maybe if enough people show up, we could get them to sponsor an annual meet or something?!?!
