Proud owner of a 2004 SC430
Howdy from Texas.
After searching high and low, finally closed on a Single owner 2004 SC430 with 30k miles on it. Beautiful car (bought it from the Lexus dealer from who i purchased a new also).
The car is perfect in all sense except not too happy with the RFT's. Dealer threw in a wheel alingment and has also ordered the Nav DVD so i can go back and update the navigation (could not even find my address).
Does anyone know or have had problem with sluggish acceleration? The gas pedal seems to be really hard. Is this something normal. Is there an easy fix or will it loosen up with time?
Thanks

....congrats on the purchase !!!!....some members have said that you can disconnect battery for 10-15 min, then reconnect. The computer has stored/learned previous owners driving pattern & this should clear it, then it'll begin to learn your driving habits. Also remember, the Sc430 is more of a touring coupe & not a sports car, so you'll notice a difference, but don't expect a miracle....lol......be sure to post in the Sc430 section of the forum, you can use the search feature & learn alot about the car & what others have done to fix/help issues that you may encounter
