Default Wheel Spacers

Hello NTL! I have a question regarding rear wheel spacers. I just lowered my car and looking around to space out my rear wheels but I'm not sure which one to get, either 3mm or 5mm. I'm trying to obtain a flush look without sacrificing my tires when I have rear passengers.

Experts are encouraged to please chime in. Thanks!!!!
