Hi there, I just bought a IS 250 and I was debating to put the plate in the front, I see most of the BMW and Merc and also 250 without the front plate in Dallas. But I already put the front plates and I regret putting it. So should I take it out or just leave it?

well, since you already put holes in the bumper, just keep it in. It would be too much trouble to fill them in. and bumper plugs dont look all that great.

it depends were you live and drive around because in some cities they are more strict on it than others ive heard irving is really strict on it

i personally had my bumper refinished and had the holes filled in so no front plate for me!

Dallas/Plano is usually cool about the front plate thing. They will warn you though if they need too.

I dont have it on, it just more pleasing to the eye.

Of course i live in oak cliff. where they are not very strict on car mods.

still giving them an excuse to pull you over and waste your time... maybe we should right a letter to Austin on proposition: NO on Front Plates....

And also the only reason I put is, i don't wanna get pulled over while i had couple of glasses of wine at a restaurant and get arrested for drunk driving, while pulling over without the front plates. I think I made a good choice of putting the front plates, I would regret later if i get pulled over. I live in N richland hills and drive around a lot... so dont you guys think its a good idea to put the front plate... I know its not pleasing to the eye, especially the IS 250

I have my front plate inside my car on the passenger side.
Because state law said it just have to be visible in the front and back.
So im good to goo =D
